...mon. Okay, horrible joke. I know, sorry.

So I'll be leaving on July 4 and come back on July 9. Before I leave I'm gonna do two things, one of them giving the next installment (chapter, but who's complaining?) of The Treasures of Artemeus the day before I leave as not only a treat for my three fans but also to celebrate my country's 233rd birthday... which will most likely have nothing to do with angry tax payers using guerrilla and European war tactics to attack men in red coats or using fireworks. Well... maybe fireworks. We'll see.

But also, I'm gonna hold myself a little contest.
As y'all might notice, I'm not exactly the best artist in the world though far from the worst. Think of me as above the bottom barrel.Just look at my drawings and you'll see. Anyways, a good acquaintance of mine did a request for me long ago drawing her idea of Honda Wolfgang using details I gave in the story. The piece can be found here: [link]

I've asked her to do another drawing yet she hasn't posted it yet (though people can be busy and I'm not paying her to do it so she can take her sweet time or none if she prefers) but I've realized that many of y'all are artists in your own right. So here are the rules of this contest:
1) The character must be of my own creation.
2) The character must have an expressed name in the story. So no "generic Human #3" or "Primian soldier" or anything like that.
3) The character must be attributed to me in some fashion.
4) When posted on your profile, please either provide a link or the name of the story the character originated. Also a brief description of the character.
5) If you have any questions or uncertainties about a detail, send me a PM and I'll do my best to describe better.
6) Nearly any form of art is applicable. For those with no scanners or who love to play dress-up/cosplay, photography is fine.
7) If you wish to make a child/teen/elder version of a character, you may.
8) If you want to make the character in a provocative or sexy manner, for any reason, you may as long as you consult your plans with me first.
9) The contest will end 3 weeks from now on July 22 at midnight Central US time (or -5 GMT). I will extend the contest by request up to a day but no more than a week.
10) You can enter up to three pieces if you wish (though I doubt anyone might).

There is no prize money (I'm broke. Sorry guys) but I'll give the winner three unquestioned requests; that is, they can tell me three things they want me to submit and I'll do so without question. Though, as a heads up, I'm not gonna draw or photograph anything I wouldn't show my family. Sorry
