The Last War: Heavenly DoctorA few weeks had passed and Machii was as right as rain. Many of the soldiers were glad to see a female of any species. Women seem to have that effect on men. Even Primian women, notorious for being strong-willed and loved being rough, always gave a sense of nurturing and love that men are incapable of giving. Machii gave a morale boost in a way that Kilala did, making her a welcomed part of the crew. It seemed though that it was Miles who she confided to when she had problems. It wasn’t hard to see they had taken a liking to each other.

Dawn made its way over the mountainside. The morning was still and quiet. The only sound to be heard was the occasional chirping of a bird-frog in a nearby tree. The Sun was rising over the horizon giving off crisp rays of light that glowed through the cloud cover. As the darkness fled into the shadows, four figures became visible on the valley below.  
 
The Avatar and his friends were sound asleep tired from a month of unexpected surprises. Aang’s eyes slowly began to pry open. As his sensitivity to light faded, it became evident to him that the day had started at last. Aang took a moment Avatar:Ch1-A short rest

I'm kinda getting the impression either I picked a bad time to make a new story or it's not that popular. So here's the deal y'all. As of this journal, there are seven chapters to The Last War. I can finish it now with 10, 15, or 20 chapters depending on how much y'all would like to keep reading this. I say this because I could go into more detail about the characters and things, or I can just skip on over to the end.

As for requests, they are still open. That being said, I haven't recieved any. :laughing:
