The Last War: Hope Reborn by ~KingAtticus:iconKingAtticus:

It had taken months, but there was finally a response from the Demon and Elves. They had come along with representatives of the two kingdoms, along with the Pirate Lords of the Blue Star pirates. It was a large gathering of people of different cultures coming to the Grand Canal: Humans, Elves, Demons, Aquarians, Culnarians, Germanians, Euclidians, and Merps. Many were refugees that had taken up settlement on planets still protected from the Raygonian Empire, but came to represent their race for a sort of summit. Emperor Aralias stood there to greet them all with Admiral Strongarm and Miles Wolfgang.

Once the formalities came to an end, they exited to a large meeting room and Emperor Aralias decided to start things off.

“Emperor Kratos would have never dreamt in his life that so many races could be together for a single purpose. There is one thing we all have in common: the Raygonian as an enemy. They’re the scourge of this war. We must come together to defeat them… once and for all! Too many have died because of this war. Friends and allies lost, treaties broken, and loyalty betrayed. It must end, and we can do it.”

“How do we do that? Most of the races here don’t even have an adequate force anymore, not to mention those damn Humans betrayed you!” yelled a Demon in the back.

“What did you expect? Humans will throw away a pact if it means their welfare,” said an Elf.

“I’ll not tolerate such language! Where were the Demons and Elves when the Federation broke into civil war? Primians sent in as many ships as we could, yet we had no help from any other race. The Euclidians and Merps were fighting to protect themselves while both your kingdoms were protected,” Admiral Strongarm said. Kilala was standing next to him, nodding in agreement.

“Are saying this is our fault, Primian?” yelled the same Demon.

“You’re only fault is inaction!”

“That’s it you tawny skinned red-head!” the Demon said and launched an attack at the Admiral. As he drew for his gun, there was a flash and another Demon appeared between the attack and the Admiral, his right hand smoking and his left hand holding the gun up. His white hair was short with a long ponytail, his eyes were black and fierce, and he had on a pair of wide black pants with a matching light jacket, similar to a Japanese happi, and a white shirt underneath. He looked like a Fire Demon, due to his pointed ears, and had these extreme wise looks to him.

“Well this is sure a fun little squabble we had. Almost makes you forget a hundred years of war, doesn’t it?” he said with a smile. He then placed his smoking hand onto a sword near his waist and held it tightly. “Now then, should we continue before the Raygonians decide to attack soon or just simply go home? If not, let’s proceed, shall we?”

“What are you doing?” yelled a Germanian. They looked like large gelatinous monsters or like giant amoebas, this one a delightful orange color, with eyes, looking more like floating white orbs with a black circle in the front, above a faintly seen mouth.

“Preserving a delicate peace among our cosmic kin; something the Primians have tried to do for as long as possible,” he said with his eyes closed and smiling. “As to whom I am, my name is Kitsune, Lord of the Wind Demons. Yes, you didn’t ask for my name but with such a large assembly it was bound to come up.”

“Yes… now that Raygonia has now been taken over by a Raygonian once again, we must take our chance to strike. It’s only a matter of time before the last standing governments are conquered. The Raygonian Empire knows that as long as we stand, the rest of the Universe is closed game,” the Emperor had stated. He then looked at Admiral Strongarm with a confident expression.

“Will all the top military leaders come with me please? We must begin our strategic planning,” the Admiral stated. He then told Kilala to not go with him but she insisted on going, which she did. The large group of generals, admirals, and higher military officials went with him and the Emperor. They wouldn’t be seen again for another two days.
